Unexpected advancements
One of the folk stories that I grew up with was the story of sun and moon standing still. Versions of this story is in many cultures. Here’s the context and the story.
Joshua was leading a large group of people through the land. The group had recently fought many battles, learnt lessons, identified their allies and had recently signed one of the partnerships.
During one of their resting times, the recent partner informed them of a threat. 5 of the neighbouring kingdoms had joined forced to fight them.
Joshua and the team prayed and worked out a battle strategy. They decided to back their partners and fight for the land.
During the battle many miraculous things happened:
🟣The team was able to travel on foot overnight and still win a battle to gain ground.
🟣There was a super natural event of ‘hailstones’ which was able to provide Joshua and his team the much needed advantage.
The sun and the moon stood still as Joshua requested to provide the much needed time for Joshua’s team to finish the battle.
The after math of the situation is mind blowing.:
It strengthened the partnership with the allies
It gained the much needed respect among the other nations (which prevents future conflict)
The team had advanced their position by years. A scenario of 5 battles over years has been reduced to 1 battle over days or weeks.
In life and work we have many applications of this story:
We may have to undertake or address situations beyond human logic for us, loved ones , partners or allies.
These situations may help in accelerating our growth, learning and most importantly advancing our situation. This may give us the invaluable gift of knowledge, power, respect and other advantages that we cannot imagine.
These situations may be divine inspired, supported by supernatural support which may come in the form of unexpected help or encouragement. In addition to this we might be able to use our declaration of faih to obtain the victory.
