Trusting in the divine timing.
One of the strong beliefs that was common among many cultures is the trust in divine timing.
There are many aspects of the divine trust that is evident in many ways:
Many cultures predict the timing of monsoon and harvest by many traditional means.

The sailors considered the red sky in the evening as a good sign for sailing next day.
The traders waited for the change in the ‘wind’ before providing a go ahead with the sail and many more!
Farmers waited for the sign in the sky to commence their harvest.
There are many examples and observations throughout history
One of the well known story from the chronicles of King David was the strategic defence against an enemy army.
King David was known for his trust in the divine timing. He served as a strong military leader, a patient fugitive and many more. These experiences taught him to rely on the divine hand to guide.
One of the well known examples was his defence against a massive army . David and his team were well prepared for the defence. Then they asked for guidance from the divine on the ‘when’
In this case, the trigger for David and his team was ‘hearing or marching on the balsam trees’. David and his team followed the instruction and achieve success.
For many of us involved in ERP and digital transformation , there is a much deeper meaning and application:
Every program of work would have certain ‘triggers’ to indicate that the organisation is truly ready to embrace the journey.
There will be clues and signs available to indicate the right Partner , SI , teams and many more.
The go live readiness will be truly supported by many signs that are beyond human understanding and logic
There will be openness and acceptance among the stakeholders when they are truly ready
In a world that is tuned to listen to hard facts , logic and actions, we will gain a lot more by making ourselves of the ‘true’ indicators, the divine hand that orchestrates it all.
Ancient wisdom has plenty of applications in the modern world. We will continue to explore and share as we #maketheworldabetterplace
