The power of responding with grace
One of the sayings that was repeated by the elders was: choose to respond with grace, even when others don’t.
This value of servant leadership has stood the test of time. It had a positive impact as we had the previlage of learning from leaders who chose to respond with grace even in difficult circumstances.
As we navigate business or life we have a conscious choice to ‘react’ or ‘respond’. We can relate to leaders from history who chose to pivot, think long term and responded with grace.
Here are some of the key aspects from ancient wisdom on this topic:
💜Choosing to let things go: Where possible, choosing to let things go and forgiving enables establishing higher level of trust and deeper relationship becomes a foundation for success.
💜Being in the moment: Being actively present with an open mind, enables leveraging the natural gifts of curiosity, innovate, navigate and others. In addition to keeping us focussed it enables creative thoughts and forward looking options
💜Choosing to Respond: We would have experienced that responding produces better and sustainable results while keeping everyone focussed on the ‘big picture’
Over all, responding with Grace enables us to choose to respond differently (with grace), consciously to pave the way for bigger and better outcomes
Ancient wisdom has plenty of applications in the modern world. Let’s choose to respond with grace as we transform and make the world a better place
