The power of choosing faith over fear…

One of the stories from ancient wisdom is about Nehemiah, a guy who became a governed in a foreign land.
Nehemiah was known for establishing peace and restoring a strategic ancient town to former glory.
Armed with a strong vision for restoration, Nehemiah and his team were known for their effective planning and meticulous execution.
Like in many circumstances there were many expected and unexpected challenges which required well thought out alternate strategies to embrace .
Some of the hardest challenges for them came in the form of: bullying from a much stronger group, betrayals from former allies, white-anting by his own group.
In addition to causing deep hurts, these challenges caused major distractions that diverted the time and energy from the crew.
Most of us would have experienced these at some point in our lives Nehemiah’s story provides many insights that would be beneficial.
Here are some of the key learning’s that can be used at life and work:
💜Identifying the challenge: The challenges are known to come in various forms from expected and unexpected places. Being open to spot and acknowledge the challenges via many trusted allies enables spotting it and identifying it.
💜Trusting their tribe: Nehemiah and his team stayed tight and relied on each other to get them through. In addition to trusting the divine, they developed this group of trust which helped them unwind, relax, sharpen the tools and plan next steps.
💜Choosing to rise above: Nehemiah and his team intentionally chose was to rise above keep things moving. They chose to focus on the vision, focus on their vision.
