Power of sensing

A saying repeatedly used by elders while growing up was ‘move with the clouds’.

The region I grew up was a tropical, rains were a part of every day life. The elders asked us to ‘watch’ the clouds to plan our day.

Many a times, we have realised the power of waiting or moving quick as clouds and rain are great teachers of life.

The expression has its roots all the way back to #exodus where a large group of people travelled across the desert to reach the promised land.

With no modern navigation aids they relied on physical signs and the natural elements. There was a ‘pillar of cloud’ that guided them at day and ‘pillar of fire’ by night. They moved as the cloud lifted.

The application of the saying in the modern day life and work is plenty. Being tuned to our sensing abilities enables us to see more, hear more and move effectively.

💜Taking time to sense what’s around us: #positiveintelligence and many #psychology leverages the power of sensing what’s around us. ‘#Feeling’ provides valuable intel that enables us to develop relationships which lead to results.

💜Taking time for scenario planning: Moving with the clouds enables us to be prepared for scenarios. This enables us to activate the scenarios needed to get the best outcome.

💜Taking time to ‘connect’: success of moving with the cloud involves being in tune with each other and with those around us and ‘connect’ with what is important.

In our world , we have a lot to gain by tuning to our real self ,sensing what is around us. This translates to meaningful relationships, informed conversations, sustainable results, gaining insights that lead to results

We are all provided with the inner ability to scene those around. While reading reports or information we can look beyond what is beyond the words and scene the information being communicated.

Look beyond the immediate interaction, rely on the sensing abilities to understand what is possible beyond the current transaction.
